Course Description (NRM-Cross Country Level 2 MA/Technical Skills Prep Clinic Half day):

This two-day prep clinic will focus on Movement Analysis & Technical Understanding (MA/TU prep) skills. During the clinic, attendees will analyze movement patterns on both their peers and themselves, showing their technical knowledge through answering questions and demonstrations in preparation for the on-snow assessment.

This clinic is 1 of the 3 available prep clinic modules. To attend the on-snow assessment, members will need to attend all of the 3 modules within a 3 season period. They can be attended in any combination.

Additional Event Details:

This is a condensed version of the required prep clinics needed to attend the coorspoinding Exam. To be able to attend the Level 2 or 3 exam for cross country, you must first attend all 3 modules of the prep clinic.

The offered modules for both level 2 & 3 are

• Movement Analysis & Technical Understanding (MA/TU)
• Ski Performance
• Teaching Skills & People Skills

For this event, the modules are each half a day.

If you choose to attend a single module of the prep clinic, you can attend just that single module of the exam. Please email Jessica Q at nrm.memberservices@gmail.com if you choose to go this route and she will help you register.

All participants attending PSIA-AASI Northern Rocky Mountain events are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet and other appropriate protective equipment while sliding or riding.

NRM Event Cancellation Policies:

The fee for an event may be fully refunded or transferred to a new event 3 weeks before the events start date. Between 3 and 1 week from the start date of the event, a 50% refund or event transfer is available. Less than a week til an event, no refunds or event transfers shall be granted. The self-cancellation button, which can be found next to the event you are registered for, can be used at any time and will reflect the aforementioned refund percentages.
