Summer is coming to a close, and we are starting to once again think about
snowboarding. This past July, I took over the chair position, and every snowboard DCE
would like to thank Stephen Craig for his years of service. We have narrowed our large
crew of clinicians and examiners down to a core crew of seven who will be charged with
making key snowboard decisions while serving one-year terms.
With regard to scheduling for the 2011-2012 season, based on the three year rotation we
have been using it is Big Sky’s turn to host the Level 2/3 snowboard exams, likely with
preps at Bridger or Moonlight. This way members will have MSAA passes available to
use at these events.
I hope all the snowboarders in the NRM are getting excited for the upcoming season as
the temperatures in the mountains begin to cool down and snow is surely on the way
soon!
