Membership and Certification Reinstatement
If your membership and/or certification has lapsed and you would like to reinstate, please see the guidelines below.
Membership Reinstatement
Members delinquent in dues payments less than two years:
Pay one year past dues ($40) plus current dues ($90), as well as applicable late fees.
Members delinquent more than two years:
Pay up-to
three years' past dues (@ $40/yr) plus current dues ($90), as well as applicable late fees.
NOTE: If you wish to reinstate your certification as well, it may be less expensive to go through the certification process again. This can help you get back into the PSIA-AASI instructor groove again and save you a few bucks.
Certification Reinstatement
Certified Members whose educational credits are in arrears must initiate a reinstatement petition to the Executive Director. Petitions must include a proposed schedule for meeting the Educational Credit minimum as described below:
Certified Members failing to meet the educational minimum in the two proceeding seasons must obtain the following credits within the next year.
1.
Certified Level II or III members: 12 Credits
2. Certified Level I members: 6 Credits
Certification shall not be fully reinstated until these requirements are met.
Certified Members failing to meet the education minimum for 3-4 seasons must then obtain the following credit points within one (1) season:
1. Certified Level II or III members: 24 Credits
2. Certified Level I members: 12 Credits
Certification shall not be fully reinstated until these requirements are met.
Certified members failing to meet the education minimum for 5 or more years will be reinstated at one level lower than last certified with the option of attending a prep clinic and exam to regain the higher certification.
Appeals to these requirements may be made to appropriate discipline committee for extenuating circumstance, with final approval by the Board.
