Iron TeamThe Iron Team is a team of freestyle coaches whose mission is to promote and coach freestyle and safety. We travel around Northern Rocky Mountain Division riding with the local freestyle enthusiasts. We are new this season and excited to get "jibby with it!”  Most of us are located in the Big Sky/Moonlight area where we are always working on our own steeze. Yes we are freestyle, but this doesn't mean that we are only hanging out in the park. The whole mountain is our playground. We are skiers and snowboarders, no tele yet. Are you level 3 and stoked on Freestyle?  Come ride with us.

Contact Iron Team Head Coach Matt Larson or the NRM office and let us know what your interest is. We want to show up at your area and ride with you. We will host an Iron Jam Session to help step up your game.

IronTeam TrainingIron Jam Sessions
Five hours of coaching and safety awareness with video MA so you can see what we see. You will progress with your skills as you ride with us. Smart Style is our backbone so we will have materials to hand out to everyone on the hill. We will also leave you a copy of the Smart Style Video for you to play in the lodge/chalet for all to see.

NRM Freestyle Accreditation
Freestyle Accreditation is dedicated to improving your personal air, tricks and riding style on natural all-mountain features and the man-made features of the terrain park. During the event, you will also focus on movement analysis and teaching skills as applied to coaching freestyle maneuvers to the general public.

This event is an evaluated clinic. Information will be given on progressions, movement analysis, and freestyle safety. During the two-day event you will also be evaluated with a written pre- and post-test, teaching segments, and riding. Candidates must be level 1 to attend, and level 2 for the accreditation to be recognized on your membership status. Coaching and Knowledge standards are supported by the level 2 requirement. Protection is recommended.
